Frezzoa: They would be NO reason for this action (or reaction) if the DemocRATs simply obeyed the existing law and voted lawfully - but the large degree of rampant voter fraud (illegals, non-registered, the dead) which they are responsible for makes it a necessity.
Conclusion: Do not object or complain about ANY situation which YOU helped to create.

HELLSON: Like most issues today, the people on both sides of this issue need to get together, get to understand the beliefs and needs of the other side, and come to a compromise.

On the surface, the state demanding a picture id to vote makes obvious sense. If the voter blocks were switched, it would probably be the Democrats calling for reform.

The problems start when you look at the people that don't have picture ids. They are twice as likely to be B lack. And much more likely to be poor and old.

It costs money and takes time to get things like birth certificates, social security cards, drivers licenses, etc.Most people would sadly just give up their right to vote rather than face the potentially impossible but defiantly frustrating process. To many of them, it would seem like Jim Crow all over again.

If it is going to happen, and I think it should, their needs to be complete bi partisan support and their also needs to be a massive unprecedented effort to help the people without picture ids get them at little or no cost.

BadBoy: If you're gonna vote... we have to know who you are.......... especially if you're going to vote for folks like the Incompetent-In-Chief that we have been saddled with since 2008.

Zilbermaney: The problem is that any form of id being required will severely
curb voter fraud which, is what Jackson and others who want O reelected are really concerned about and everyone knows it.

His argument of disenfranchisement of minorities due to some mythical economic hardship in obtaining an id
becomes moot, when States have offered free id's to those who can't afford to pay for them AND everyone, regardless of race, has to produce the required id prior to voting which, eliminates any charge of discrimination.



Resurrecting MLK and the goal of the historical civil rights movement has no place in this situation since no one is suggesting a verbal test to determine if you're intellectually capable of casting a vote but, maybe that's what we need to do since too many people who vote are totally ignorant on current affairs and political issues.
Stuff it, Jackson and the rest of you haters, our nation is at Death's door.
